So, today I had my interview with the travel agency. It went awesome! I think I really might have gotten the job. One of the questions they asked me was why I wanted to work there. I told them I love working with the public, and being a travel agent seemed like a fun job. They were delighted to hear that it wasn't just because I "love to travel;" apparently that was the reason everyone else they interviewed had given. They informed me that the job is a travel agent, therefore we wouldn't be doing a lot of traveling ourselves. :) All in all I'm excited to hear if I got it. They told me they would let me know either way by Friday; they still had a couple more interviews after mine. They did tell me that I was definitely their favorite so far! Also, they seemed very flexible and willing to work around my court job, which is great. There is also PAID HOLIDAYS!! What part-time job has paid holidays?!?!
Ellie's day wasn't quite as exciting as yesterday. She wasn't trapped in any car washes, nor did she chase any mice. She did manage to talk Jerime into setting up her portable DVD player to watch a movie in her room. Of course, she does have a DVD player and a TV in her room, but I guess it just wasn't enough. After her movie started I got the somewhat nice demand of "Mommy, fix me popcorn..............please." So met her demand and snapped some shots of her enjoying her movie on the "little screen."
